Hello there! My name is Catherine Graham-Harris, but please call me Cat. I am a graphic designer from San Diego, CA. My favorite areas of design are packaging design, vector illustrations, and layout design. Art and design has been a part of my life since I can remember. My dad is a gifted sketch artist and painter. My grandpa was a graphic illustrator in the 1930s through the 1960s for various clients in New York and even taught Airbrush for Illustration at the University at Buffalo, New York. You could say I inherited the gift of design.

After high school I attended Grossmont Community College and dabbled in different interests while earning my GE requirements. I ended up taking “the road less traveled” and had children before I had finished earning my degree. It wasn't until my children were a few years old that I finally went back to school and found my calling. I started taking graphic design classes at Cuyamaca and Grossmont Community College in the spring of 2017 and was able to transfer to San Diego State University in the fall of 2018. While the order of events may seem like a set-back while pursuing an education, I do believe that having children while earning my degree in Graphic Design has given me a different creative edge and an insatiable drive to achieve the “impossible” or at least “hard to obtain” goals.
